My CT scan came back in pretty good shape. They put my head back together correctly, not that I really thought they didn’t. The area we were concerned about was just some scar tissue that still needs to heal up. Now I don’t need to go back to the surgeon for six months, get another CTA right before the next visit, so, I’m good there. No worries.
I’m continuing to get PT once or twice a week because I’m still pretty dizzy. I’ve fallen a couple of times. The first time, my legs just gave out. I caught it right in time, using the coffee table to steady myself, but the second time was a bad fall. I’m still sore from it. Waaa waaa.
I still have no hair because I keep having Hannah shave it down to even it out in the front. I probably need to do that twice more to get it even. I was hoping to look exactly like Sinéad O’Connor, but no such luck! Ha ha. In the meantime, I wear a beanie when I leave the house so I don’t freak anyone out with my big Frankenstein scar.
It’s obvious to me now that hair is unlikely to grow very close to the scar. It will definitely show, even if I grow my hair long (which I probably won’t), so that’s a really big bummer. I wish the surgeon had gone farther back on my hairline, but they had to go in where they did because it was necessary.
Okay, enough of all that.
I’m still working on the VIP promo packages, and are they ever time-consuming! Right now, my outer envelopes are printing in my printer as I type this. My printer is super finicky. I have to load only a few envelopes at a time, and I often have to adjust it when the paper doesn’t feed.

What sucks about this project so far is that I planned to buy enough supplies for 40 packages, but I only bought enough for 30. I don’t know what I was thinking, except that I’ve been very spaced out lately. But I’ll save a little money on postage if I cut 10 names. That’s going to be challenging.
So far, this “little” project is costing 3x what I budgeted, and counting. I only have 22 inner envelopes, so I need to search for eight more. I have enough for everything else to make 30.

I’m going to have Hannah chop all the photos for me because every time I try it, I fuck it up. I’m really bad at measuring, and a lot of times, the guillotine chops it crooked. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. There are 60 photo papers waiting to be cut, three images per sheet, so that’s a lot of choppin’. Maybe she can do a little bit at a time.
