Little Books & More Kickstarter Stuff
I finally got a proof of my new little book of drawings in the mail. Everything looked decent, but I needed to make a few edits, specifically the centerfold pages. It’s one single drawing across two pages that weren’t lining up correctly. I figured I musta did something wrong there, so I started from the beginning and made them line up. I just won’t know if it worked until I get another proof.

Last week, I finally placed an order with a woodcutting company. I was ordering about 30 pieces of different shapes and sizes, but then I put the brakes on. Instead, I ordered two of the largest sizes as a test. I feel like I need to see how they’ll look and feel before making so many more, ya know?

I’m just getting over a stomach bug that had me throwing up all day on Thursday and Friday of last week. I’ve been nauseous ever since, but feel better overall, thank Jah. I went ahead and launched the Kickstarter campaign early this morning. I couldn’t wait. Tomorrow, I send out my newsletter, and fingers crossed that we get some pledges. If not, I’ll probably cut off my toes. Don’t worry, I’m kidding. It’s an empty threat, of course.
