I’m still not quite sticking to a good painting schedule, but we just got over a four-day holiday weekend here, so I wasn’t exactly wanting to work. I did some work on the promo project, which is very close to being finished. I’m just waiting on more photo wallet envelopes from eBay, but I’ve got everything else done. Pretty much.
I’ve hand-addressed all the outside envelopes and written personal notes to each VIP. I actually printed the notes/letters in my own handwriting font. I made that font a long time ago and forgot about it. They look kinda “cute.”
I did work on the wallpaper in this painting over the weekend. Today, I’m going to try to work on that other one I started before my surgery.

And speaking of brain surgery, I am feeling better overall. It seems the pain and dizziness I experience come in waves. Some days are better than others, of course. But even throughout the day, I’ll get twinges of pain in my head where the scar is. I’m not worried about it, though. It’s just inconvenient. Walking and standing are still pretty difficult, which is why I’m still a little scared to drive. I’m allowed to drive now. I just wish I weren’t so dizzy and fatigued.
I’m waiting for home PT to be transferred to out-patient, in which case, I’ll have to drive there. It’s not far or anything. It’s pretty much a straight shot into Yucca Valley. I think I’ll be able to pull it off.
My physical therapist really wants me to get a good walker that has a flip-down seat. Something like what’s below. I agree that it would help me walk farther and save me from falling over, but I guess I’m pretty vain. I’d feel embarrassed walking around with that.

I felt the same way when I needed a wheelchair. I still have that wheelchair. It’s a nice, lightweight manual one, but I don’t have the upper body strength to use it anymore. I suppose I should sell it. It looks like this, only it’s a bright green:

It might be good for someone else pushing me around in it, but that’s also embarrassing to me. I’d have to put the handlebars and other parts back on it.
My PT guy also mentioned that there are walkers that turn into electric wheelchairs, which seems crazy, but it’s true.

Anyway, I’ll have to think about these things.
