It’s been a busy week. What else is new? But at least there’s been progress, and you know how much I love progress. In fact, I finished the very last mixed media piece that I’m calling Piece of Blue Sky:
It’s a little guy at 10 x 10 inches. Sorta looks like the original sketch that I had for it in the first place, doesn’t it?
Anyhow, now I’ve been focused on the last one now, which in all honestly is probably for the “back room.” I’m not sure it’s going into the main gallery for the show. Shulamit doesn’t really have a back room, but they have other rooms where they display art on the upper levels, so it will probably wind up there.
As you can see, it’s coming along now.
Then there’s the movie (Up to Now). I’ve been putting in long days on that.
I really don’t get how people commute. I feel bad for people that have to drive to work every day on the freeway in traffic. I’m doing it twice a week and I want to die. It just takes a lot out of me. I want to fall asleep at the wheel. I try to sing really loud to the radio to try to wake myself up, or play drums on the steering wheel. Anything. Then I watch all these other drivers talking on their cell phones while they are driving and I can’t believe it. I can’t even concentrate on the road if I have to pee a little bit, let alone in a conversation with someone on the phone. I see them texting too. I once saw a person reading a book!
Crazy beans!
