Several weeks back I mentioned that I was nominated for the Wynn Newhouse Award. Maybe some of you remember that. Maybe some of you don’t. It doesn’t matter because today I am here to announce that I have won the award! I just found out yesterday morning and I think it’s finally sinking in.
Some might know him as my strange partner/love of my life – mjp, but many of you might not yet know that he also has been sweeping the Internet air waves with his new show called, THIS IS NOT A TEST, a once-a-week podcast about art, film, music, literature, and the Truth!
I recently sat down with mjp in our kitchen-turned-broadcasting station for a little interview about, well, me! What actually occurred, I don’t honestly remember. I mean, he asked me questions and I answered them, but I don’t really recall what I said, so if I offended anyone, I do apologize in advance.
Things are going sorta semi-slow, but not as slow as I have complained about in recent weeks. In fact, I think I might make the deadlines. I think I might, I think I might. Or is that, “I think I can I think I can?”
I don’t really celebrate Christmas. I worked all day if you want to really know what I did on Thursday. I woke up bright-eyed and bushy-tailed, excitedly prepared to set up my video installation in my backyard for a test run. So that’s what I did.
Because of the holidays, I haven’t been able to get much done over the last week or so. Things are coming along, but not quickly.
