Pictured above is the most recent completed painting called Flintlock Terrace: oil, paper and fabric on birch wood panel at 18 x 24 inches. It’s actually only the first piece I have finished for my upcoming show at the end of November, Rock and Refuge, at Craig Krull Gallery. That’s in addition to what I already have on the birch wood panels here that haven’t been sold yet.

I am still working on the two pieces for the fundraisers, but I am also working on the designs (compositions) for what’s going on the new birch panels I recently ordered from Blick.
What’s in a Name?
Hello bloggie. Haven’t seen you in a while. I’ve been out chasing stars, going to concerts, and even a taping of a television show, among other things. You know? Business things. More business things than art things. Isn’t it always that way. If only I was lucky enough to just paint all day – wouldn’t that me romantical? I’m sure that’s what you think I do around there though.
Up To Now Video – Now on YouTube!
At long last, the YouTube version of Up To Now is here! It is on Vimeo as well. Either way you slice it, it is now available to view. But it is the low resolution version you will see (for free), so bear in mind that it is not the Hi-def HD version that I am selling as a very special edition flash drive that you are more than welcome to buy for $45 on my site.
New Inspired Paintings Are ‘a Brewin’
For the first time late last night I began to get totally inspired paintings in my head. I was looking around on the internet like I usually do at art and I saw some work by Debra Smith that really inspired me. It makes me want to take my mixed media works to a whole new level. I thought about drawing out some compositions, but I was so crazy tired, I couldn’t it. I was nodding off at my computer (which I often do) and I had to get myself into the bed before I slammed my nose into my keyboard.
