A short while back, I wrote about the incredible headaches I was having. I had them every day for about three months following walking pneumonia. After months of both issues (since the beginning of the year), I only got back to work a few weeks ago. This is because my new neurologist found a migraine drug that worked. It’s called Qulipta. I take it every day, and then Nurtec as a rescue medication. Compared to before, I hardly have headaches, and when I do, they don’t last as long as they did before. Whew!

Hearts and Fathers (and Big-hearted Sisters)
I saw my primary care doc the other day, and it went well. (Finally!) Turns out my echocardiogram looked good. What a relief. I only have to get through tomorrow’s stress test (yuck!) and a couple of other tests to fully see how my heart and lungs are doing, but so far, nothing is too horrible really.

I’m finally going to see my primary care doctor(s) today, so I can yell at the whole lot of them or at least tell them how frustrated I am that they still haven’t sent the results of my echo to my cardiologist (Dr. Zadeii). But that’s not all I’m frustrated about.

Still working away. Yet, it doesn’t seem like I’ve made much progress. Maybe it’s because I took a couple of days off, or maybe because I always think that, even when I have made progress. I’m too hard on myself. But I’m still ahead of schedule, so it doesn’t matter.
