The Giveaway for New Subscribers

After going through my database of over 1000 pieces of art, it hasn’t been easy to pick which paintings to part with or how to make that selection, but I’ve finally come up with a solution for the giveaway for new subscribers.

Of course, many of my paintings are unavailable. They have found other homes over the years. And I also didn’t want to give away something small. I want this giveaway to have a lot of incentive, so I went through all of my available oil paintings. Nothing too huge, of course. Not everyone has that kind of wall space.

With that in mind, I selected forty-five pieces. However, forty-five pieces are a bit overwhelming to choose from. Giving people that kind of choice can be pretty daunting, so I pretty much selected five from each “era,” and, I decided that I will just do more than one giveaway!

That’s right. I’m going to do this every couple of months (for an indefinite amount of time).

So, here’s how the first giveaway works—and it’s for new subscribers to my newsletters only:

Sign up for my mailing list between now and Labor Day (September 4th) by 5:00 PM and be randomly selected to receive an original painting by yours truly, all postage paid. You will have a choice of these five pieces:

Argument Park, 2008. Oil, paper patterns, pencil, thread, and embroidery on canvas, 30 x 30 inches:

The Bat, The Cat, The Cake, and The Snake, 2020. Oil on canvas, 20 x 20 inches:

The Form of Us, 2011. Oil, coffee, and pencil on canvas, 20 x 16 inches:

Typer, 2000. Mixed media oil and collage on canvas, 24 x 36 inches:

Above Valley Blvd. II, 2016. Oil on gessoboard, 24 x 18 inches:

I’m hoping that this is a pretty good selection and will get people to want to sign up. We shall see! If you’re a reader of this blog, but you haven’t ever signed up for my mailing list to receive my newsletters, maybe now is the time. Or maybe you know someone who would enjoy it. If so, Please tell them about it.

I will announce the winner in my next newsletter. But if you’d rather not have your name announced, you will need to drop me a note beforehand and tell me so.

Once I have the winning results (at 5:00 PM on September 4th), I’ll be contacting the winner. If that is you, you don’t have to decide on which painting right away, but the sooner, the better, okay?

If you have any questions, just drop me an email. I’m here to answer all of your inquiries.

Good luck!
