I made a couple of blog posts over at the ExodusJoshuaTree.com/blog site over the past couple of days because I felt I was neglecting that blog, so you might want to checker out over there.
In the meantime, I’ve been busy with filling in the in-between on this 36 x 36 inch panel with a brown to white fade:
I also bought a bunch of new fabrics so that I could start some of the last few panels, so I was busy with that over the weekend, plotting a couple of those out.
This is a little 10 x 10 inch and below is a 12 x 12.
I don’t know when I’ll get around to painting on them, but at least they are glued on to the panels and started and I know where I’m going with them.
This means I only have one more small panel to plot out!
Now that’s just crazy I say. I mean, I am by no means finished, but I’m really getting there and I know what the entire show looks like now except for one small panel and about half of my movie.
Well, that’s not entirely true. I know what my movie is going to look like. We just don’t have all the actual shots in place yet.
What I’m trying to say is that I’m getting really close. I’m catching up. I’m feeling good. Better at least.
The one that sits flat at my drawing table however, this one:
remains pretty untouched. I painted the first three rocks on it today. I just didn’t take a picture of it.
And I changed this one a little bit, from this:
to this:
and I still think it needs a little tweaking. Just a little.
As does this one:
I think I want to put a vertical black line on it, like so:
and now it’s time for bed.
