So, wow. Look what’s here. My dream table. It’s a Mayline drafting table, and it’s amazing!
Books
Up to Today
Today I’m going to pick up a few paintings from my gallery in Santa Monica, Craig Krull Gallery. They are for a group show I’ll be in at El Camino College in February called Personal Matters.
In All the Other New(s)
Well no more wondering about what I’m going to put on the covers of the flash drive boxes. I’ve found these playing cards on eBay that I’m going use. They excite me, as I sort of fell in love with them. Maybe I’ll even place another playing card in the box. It depends on what I feels like doing. I just got the deck today. Still, all the little details on this book are moving damn slow.
My Way to Cope
I guess it seems like I went back into hiding, didn’t it? Well, I’ll do that sometimes, but I’ve recently been up to my ears preparing a clearer path for 2017. Even though it’s probably not going to be easy, I think it’s important to keep busy, or be creative, or something. It’s a good way to cope I guess.
There’s been a lot going on around here. I have a bunch of news and I usually hoard it all up and save that stuff for a newsletter, but I don’t foresee putting one out before the holidays. I’ll be sending out a winter newsletter around the end of January I think. At least that’s the plan. In the meantime, I’m going to spill the beans about the latest goings on in this blog entry.
I Digress…And This is Long
I’ll talk a bit about some art stuff, but then – I’m just warning you – I’ll then be going on a long, extensive twiddle-twaddle about the book. It’s because October is here and it’s the last leg in my plan before I get this thing off to my editor, but I digress. First, here’s where that watercolor is. It’s not much further along than where it was last time we spoke. It’s been a slow progression because I’ve been busy with other things.
