So, some weeks back I was invited by Theresia Kleeman, who teaches at the Conservatory for the Arts at Mayfield Senior School in Pasadena to come in as a guest artist and talk to the students. They have apparently been studying my art since the beginning of the semester. It’s all been so hard to believe, but it’s true.

What Really Matters?
Pictured above is the most recent completed painting called Flintlock Terrace: oil, paper and fabric on birch wood panel at 18 x 24 inches. It’s actually only the first piece I have finished for my upcoming show at the end of November, Rock and Refuge, at Craig Krull Gallery. That’s in addition to what I already have on the birch wood panels here that haven’t been sold yet.

I am still working on the two pieces for the fundraisers, but I am also working on the designs (compositions) for what’s going on the new birch panels I recently ordered from Blick.
What’s in a Name?
Hello bloggie. Haven’t seen you in a while. I’ve been out chasing stars, going to concerts, and even a taping of a television show, among other things. You know? Business things. More business things than art things. Isn’t it always that way. If only I was lucky enough to just paint all day – wouldn’t that me romantical? I’m sure that’s what you think I do around there though.
