I finally finished the whole VIP promotional package project last week. I made 33 of them and I’m happy with the list of people. Last time I did a special thing like this (last year during my solo show at Compound in Yucca Valley), I didn’t get the responses I hoped for. Same with my show before that (THIS LAND) at Craig Krull Gallery. However, I did get a good review out of that show.

Reflective Mindset
So, I’ve been working on this reflection workbook called “What’s Next” with a good friend of mine. We’ve only gotten through the first ten pages or so, and I think there are about 35 pages in total. It’s been eye-opening, and I guess pretty helpful in finding out what the hell I want for my future.

It’s a lot easier to sit and type a blog post than it is to work on art. Funny, sometimes I think about going back to writing and forego art altogether. That probably sounds like I don’t like making art. Well, most of the time, I don’t. Surprised? Don’t be. All I do on my blog is complain about art and my health. It’s more relaxing to type.
