Bad News
I haven’t really had time or the clarity to wrap my head around this, but my brother Mike died this past Thursday. He was very recently put into home hospice with a hospital bed and the whole nine. He was getting weaker and weaker since April, but it got really bad in the last month. And we still were not speaking.

I saw the neurosurgeon yesterday, and unfortunately, I don’t have that much new information. I liked him okay. He was a plethora of information, really. But I won’t know how we are going to address the aneurysm until after a CTA (Computed tomography angiography). This next part is gross and it may make you weak in the knees.

A short while back, I wrote about the incredible headaches I was having. I had them every day for about three months following walking pneumonia. After months of both issues (since the beginning of the year), I only got back to work a few weeks ago. This is because my new neurologist found a migraine drug that worked. It’s called Qulipta. I take it every day, and then Nurtec as a rescue medication. Compared to before, I hardly have headaches, and when I do, they don’t last as long as they did before. Whew!
