I finished the book, Outlander. I am so happy, relieved, excited, and am feeling rather accomplished. The only thing I wish to do as a finishing touch is to somehow make a little promotional movie of it.
Early this morning, and all-too impatiently, I took crappy photos of it. I still have to figure out some intelligent way to take clean, professionally-looking images of this in its entirety. I’m a little lost at the moment as to how. But ultimately, I have to do a video, and not really still images. It would require way too many, as there are roughly thirty of them.
Here are all five of the books in their boxes with cloth tabs and labeled with lino block prints:
Here are a few snapshots I took this morning before the sun came up, so I think the pictures are extra crappy:
I can’t show every page, of course, but here are a few…a print of an older watercolor, and an original watercolor:
A photographic print and an original lino block print:
An original drawing and some printed prose in my handwriting (some of the pages have original handwriting):
Another original drawing and a handwritten quote:
There are thirty-six pages, so there’s a lot more to show. It’s just a tease! But here is a peek at the fold-out map with another original watercolor:
Okay, one more page. This is also an original drawing with a reproduction print of an older painting:
Dare I show more?
Above is the centerfold. It’s simple, but all originally penned.
I worked pretty hard on this thing, but I’m so glad I finished it. In some ways, I’m a little bit sad it’s over. But, it’s time for me to move on to making work for my show next fall. I’m really looking forward to doing that and definitely keeping you posted here.
Thanks for reading!
CONGRATULATIONS!!!!

Thank you Ruth! How have you been???
Hanging in there. Not making art, but writing.
