I have a deadline—be it a self-inflicted one—to finish everything for my show one week before installation. Good thing I do not foresee that being a problem. I’m pretty sure I’ve been well ahead of schedule for a while, even with making the promo packages.

Woop woop! Today I am featured in the LA WEEKLY! No April foolin’ around. Maybe it’s not April Fool’s Day at all. For me, it’s Lucky Day! I mean it must be since I’m fortunate enough to be part of Shana Ny Dambrot’s “Meet the Artist” series. Someone must’ve hit me over the head with a horseshoe when I wasn’t looking. That might explain a lot of other stuff not related to luck at all.
What What
What on Earth? Time keeps ticking. I keep losing it. My deadlines are fast approaching and my “ToDo” list stays relatively the same: around 25 things I have to do (right away!). Every time I turn around, I forget that I have to add something. At least I’m set up to work on the last of the drawings now. This table was an absolute catastrophe yesterday. Now it’s all better.
Time’s A’ Wastin’
Here it is, the end of February already. (I wrote this yesterday) Time is ticking. I can hear it. No, really. There is a clock in my kitchen that clicks every second, and it drives me crazy. It clicks while I paint in the dining room and I wonder why I don’t buy one that’s silent.
