I’m glad the holidays are over, other than the fact I’m not able to spend as much time with mjp. He gets more days off on xmas and New Year, and then it’s back to the grind again. I should be back to painting, I guess. Or, at least I should be doing something else instead of what I have been doing, which would be what, I’m not sure, but I should be doing something else instead.

So, we are thinking about adopting another dog–one that is a better fit for us. We will be receiving a home visit from one of the animal rescues I’ve been communicating with to see about possibly adopting a spaniel mix named Ruffles. Get it? Ruffles??

Yeah, so it’s been a little while since I’ve posted anything again. Let’s face it. I’m just busy, even when I’m lollygagging. I’m never really dilly-dallying. I just think I am. I am always working. When I think something isn’t work, it really is work. It’s all work. It’s all part of it. It’s all the same. All roads lead to the same shit. And today I’m waiting for a new keyboard because this one is taking a dump. Some letters keep skipping and I have to keep going back and correcting all the spelling, even on the simplest words. Typing seems to be taking three times longer. The new keyboard should be arriving this afternoon.
